February at The Farm Park

Updated: Mar 14, 2022

Extreme Weather, Slides and Half Term

February was a very diverse month on the farm! With Half Term bearing down on us, the race was on to finish our new play equipment and prepare for visitors was on. We finished our new Climbing Frame, Scramble Net and (finally!) opened our Giant Zip Wire to the public. Our new slide on the climbing frame is particularly fun (yes, we all had a go when it arrived...)

On a less positive but far more windy note, we enjoyed a Red Weather Warning for Wind when Storm Eunice blew through the UK. With lots of trees onsite, and being very close to the sea, it was certainly windy and we felt the full effect of the unusual weather. With animals escaping, sheds blowing over and trees falling down it was certainly a busy day on the farm.

The end of the month saw the arrival of our new Spring Animals and babies, however that is an update I will save for March. What I will say is that they are adorable and I would highly recommend our Goat Bottle Feeding Experience which you can book below.

With the weather warming up, it's a great time to visit the farm and we hope to see you soon!
