January at The Farm Park

Cold muddy work!

January is always a strange month at the farm park. Following a very busy Christmas with the Elf Express, January is a chance to catch our breath, catch up on maintenance that would be impossible to complete while open and build new attractions.

During January we completed our new 50m2 Sandpit, Toddler Swings, Giant Zip-wire and significantly expanded the size of our animal enclosures ready for the arrival of new furry friends in the Spring. On a less positive note we suffered a malicious and damaging break-in and serious damage to our large bouncing pillow that now needs to be replaced.

We were pleased to see the return of Paintball & Airsoft which closes for December each year whilst the Elf Express is running and were delighted to welcome Jamie to the team who's role is to drive forward our program of activities.

Our animals have enjoyed grazing across the whole site and we continue training our Shetland ponies ready for walks later in the year.

We cannot wait to see you back at the Farm Park and are excited for the Spring where everything becomes less cold and muddy! We have our Easter Trail coming up and tickets are already on sale for the major events across the year. We look forward to seeing you soon!
